MNS Would Not Allow Mahira Khan to Work In India

One of the Indian political parties, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) mentioned,  they would not ask any Pakistan to work in India. They would not allow Mahir too to work in their country even they don’t need any talent from Pakistan. This statement came in front to read when the Mahira signed an agreement for a web series with an Indian OTT platform.

“But I was scared and I have no shame in admitting it. Now I am a bit more like, ‘No, come on yaar, you can’t let something that happened, which was political, affect your choices.’ So I don’t think I will do that anymore and I hope that we collaborate, even if it’s on digital or in any way.”

The reports clarify to us about Mahira Khan, Sarmad Khoosar, Yasir Rizvi, and some of the other talented actor's engagement with a Zee Theatre on a specific project. The project title was Yaar Julahay a web series based on a dramatic reading of legendary Urdu writers. Pakistani legendary star actress Mahira Khan in her latest interview said since the ban on our country artists she is not confident to engage herself on any project with the neighboring country.

“We will not allow Mahira Khan or any other Pakistani artists to work here be it Maharashtra or in any part of the country.”

She was offered many times to become a part of digital projects. She said not each time due to the fear element. When she had decided let's start working with India without any involvement of politics.

MNS opposite Mahira Khan’s Project in India

MNS clearly stated to the Times of India, the president of MNS-Cinema wing Ameya Khopkar giving a statement they are pretty sure about not to allow Pakistani artists to work in India.

 Such statements have been taken place before this statement. It was not the first time. Earlier a serious warning was issued to the Indian celebrities to stop collaborating with Pakistani artists by the federation of Western India Cine Employees.
